UGB MMA was created and founded by Ferdinand Munsayac, a former US Navy Chief who has always been fascinated with combat sports and martial arts.

So, when he decided to retire in the Philippines after 20 years of military service, putting up a gym and fighting sports promotion became his focus. Munsayac opened The Goat Locker Boxing Gym in 2011, which also offers Mixed Martial Arts, FMA, and Muay Thai. He later launched a platform for amateur fighters designed to groom fighters before they plunged into professional leagues—thus Underground Battle MMA was born.

Ferdie created this company with the advocacy of helping talented yet underprivileged Filipino martial artists. Having had to go through many hardships himself, Ferdie knows what it is like to need help from others to achieve one’s dreams. That is why Ferdie has dedicated the past 9 and half years of his life-extending his help to the Filipino martial arts scene.

(born 23 June 1988) is a mixed martial artist from the Philippines currently competing as a bantamweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional competitor since 2009, he formerly competed for Legend Fighting Championship, Universal Reality Combat Championship, and ONE Fighting Championship. He was crowned URCC Global Featherweight Champion in 2018.

Mugen made his UFC debut on October 17, 2020 after his fight was postponed when he tested positive for COVID-19 in August after arriving in Las Vegas for his original debut. His eventual debut took place on Fight Island where he was knocked out by Said Nurmagomedov in the first round.[5

Striegl grew up in Japan during the heyday of Pride FC, and watching Japan’s biggest MMA show on TV was part of his regular routine. He soon followed in his brother’s footsteps, training in Tae Kwon Do and Wrestling before making the transition to MMA during his university years.

Known as the Amplified Man, he is the son of actor Leonardo “Joji” de la Paz (deceased). Born in Cavite City. He is a father to his children. He is a martial arts practitioner and athlete since 1998, a Martial Arts Coach since 2001, an Events Host since 2003, and a voice-over artist since 2015. He has awards in Basketball, Scrabble, Running, Track and Field, High Jump, and Public Speaking. He is trained in Krav Maga, Mixed Martial Arts, and Jeet Kune Do. Founded his own martial arts called “ParaDigma” or “For War” in English. He practiced and competed in Arm Wrestling, Soccer, Volleyball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Billiards, Competitive Eating, and Competitive Drinking. He was a singer (baritone) for a vocal group. He used to be an Uber Driver and Habal Rider.

He also worked as an agent in BPO companies. He was a radio announcer for an AM station. He was a health adviser. He was a real estate agent. He started using the stage name and moniker “Amplified Man” in 2015.

Louie Sangalang is a former undefeated URCC MMA Featherweight Champion, a Semi-finalist in “Kamao: Matira Matibay” the first boxing reality TV show in the Philippines, a North Pole Marathon Finisher, a triathlete of the Sante Barley Tri Team, a purple belt under the Pedro Sauer BJJ Association, and a Finalist in The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition.
